As a result, 1,400 hardwood logs opproximating 5000 cubic metres were seized, four DENR officials, the Chief of Police, and the Battalion Commander of the Infantry Battalion were relieved from Duty; Coastguards were disciplined and a warrant of Arrest issued for the Town Mayor with Bail set at 80,000 PHP.
